Authorized in December 2000, the Governor established the Interagency Transition Council for Youth with Disabilities in November 2001 (Executive Order 01.01.2000.26). The Council is responsible for annually reviewing and updating the Interagency State Plan for Transitioning Students with Disabilities (Chapter 435, Acts of 1995; Code Education Article, sec. 21-305).
