Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 31, 1937. Served in U.S. Army Reserves, eleven years. Member, Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee, 1982- (president, 1994-96). Advisory Board, Workforce and Technology Center (formerly the Maryland Rehabilitation Center). Member, Sixth District Democratic and Civic Club; Fourteenth District Democratic Club. Former President, Fifth District Democratic Club. Past governor, Loyal Order of Moose, Gardenville Lodge #1242 (2nd degree moose fellowship). Member, St. Michael's Catholic Church. Married; three children; seven grandchildren.
